***Spoiler Alert*** This message should be read on Saturday...I am currently out of town at a crop with no internet access so I am posting a day early... The question is: Why do you craft? And if you were unable to craft the way you do now (heaven forbid) what would you do instead?I craft because I need a way to express myself artistically. I should have gone to art school or become an architect (instead of a lawyer). For whatever reason, if I could not craft then I would probably read excessively and exercise ALOT more.

I craft because that is who I am. Always done it, always will, in some shape or form. Just like C, I should have explored that a little better in my youth, and done something in graphic arts or advertising or something like that.
If I couldn't craft - well I would sit quietly and drool ....

I craft because it is my release and it brings me joy. I am also going to "steal" Jan's "because that is who I am" answer as well. I have always done crafting in one way or another and both my grandmother's are/were pretty crafty themselves. Well I was going to say crochet and sew but that is still crafting and I do both now. Hmmm.. I would probably write and read more.

I've always been crafty too. I HAVE to be making something. I do love to read too and USED to be a fanatic about exercising(something I need to get back into). I honestly think I'd go nuts if I couldn't craft.
