A question for all you designers out there. Do you work on assignments/projects as they come to you and as you need them or do you sit down at a certain day/time and whip as many out as possible?

I have small binder I carry with me that always has the most current challenges and submission deadlines. Whenever I get a chance to hide away in my office and create I turn to it and see what I can do within my timeframe. I am trying to branch out and do different challenges and trying to submit to magazines. I also always have a scrapbook project/idea waiting in the wings that I can jump on when I get extra time or just inspired to scrap.

I can really only get quality crafting time in on the weekends so that is when I do most of it. I try to work on projects "in order" so I don't have to stress about a deadline. DT projects first, magazine calls second, and challenges, etc third. I re-prioritize every time I craft so I can spend time on the things that matter most to me and toss the rest.

Having a binder is a great idea! Will have to try that. I work full-time so I try to get most of my projects done on the weekends.
