This morning I had the idea that I am going to start scrapbooking my weight loss progress (just another thing that I think might help me keep on track)... I have so much weight to lose and have felt so awful about how out of control my weight has gotten in the last couple of years that I wouldn't dream of stepping on a scale in front of anyone (short of my doctor)... so even though I just started the Weight Watcher's program... going to meetings to weigh in is out of the question...
I am using the online support for Weight Watchers...but I thought if I had a photograph taken of myself each week and recorded my weight it will help keep me more accountable...and maybe down the road I will even share the pages I create??
Perhaps there are some of you who would be interested in joining me on this scrapbook adventure? I do believe that I am going to purchase an 8 x 8 album for this... big enough to do one photo per page and record the other stuff I want to record.

I hear you Liz! I did order an album, but I went with 8 1/2 x 11, I've never scrapped in that size before... should be interesting... I am going to have my daughter take a photo on me sometime today to start it off... I'm not ready to share any photos either... but, at least we can work on it together... I'm going to record my weight with each photograph that I take every week... and journal about what I did that week to keep on track with the program.

Wow, a photo every week!! I think I will only take one at the beginning and end. I will journal weekly and keep a daily diary about how I feel and what's going on around me. I will do weigh ins weekly and measurements every four weeks.

Oh, also I have picked up my album. It's a 9x9 album. I like this size to work on things about myself. This year I did a book of me in this size and it was perfect.

Scrapbboking weight loss? Hmmmm. I did something like that once. After my son was born (8 years ago), I took a photo of myself and put it on the refrigerator. Let's just say I lost weight really fast because of that photo! Well now it's time I do that again. Maybe scrapping it would be another great way to keep motivated. Love the idea!
