Who uses them?
I have never used a digi stamp or paper. I am interested in digi stamps, but don't really know where to begin. Any tips or tricks?

I'm by no means an expert on digis since I just started using them myself but here's what little I do know. You can google "free digital stamps" and find some to try out before buying any. Meljen's Designs actually has a freebie pack on the sidebar of her blog that you can download if you like her images. The little apple with the worm and sentiment I used on my last DT project are some of her digis. I love rubber stamps but digis give you the freedom to resize. I have a Printmaster program that I just copy the images into and then I can resize them easily or even combine more than one image. I've printed them out on regular cardstock, bristol paper, and watercolor paper. I believe that a laser printer works better for keeping down the possibility of your ink smearing when you color. I have an ink jet and I just heat set mine before I color them. Hope this helps.

mygrafico.com offers free digi stamps from different artists. I print them on cardstock. I am a beginner as well but they are fun!

I got a package (in my email) from the Cutting Cafe for being a host for a blog hop and made a project with it. I wasn't sure I'd like it, and my printer doesn't do well on cardstock, so I had to do it; trace it and then cut it out again but I like the idea of just clicking print as many times as I'd like instead of pulling out the inks and stamps.
I may do more down the road; I'm in the process of fixing my computer (not the family computer) and once thats done will probably do more digi stuff.

I'm new to them, too and this month is going to be a big challenge for me! I ended up cutting out the monkey for this week's challenge because I couldn't figure out how to resize them to print. It kept defaulting to full page (ugh!) I'm sure it is user error but do you all use Photoshop or something to resize?

You can open your digi stamps as a jpg image in a Word document. From there you can resize your image. I use Photoshop for all my digi stamps and sometimes I even color my images directly in Photoshop instead of using Copics. I usually do this to save time or when I want to match my colors perfectly when I don't have a specific marker. Plus the gradients turn put much better than I could ever color them.
If anyone needs help with digi stamps, just let me know.

I don't like using them that much. Once I take a Copic class I may use them more. I love die-cuts and chipboard and other embellies a whole lot more.

I have used them quite a bit of late as I was on The Cutting Cafe design team last quarter. I am also enjoying using the ones offered byour sponsors too. They kind of grow on you. They will never replace my regular stamps but they are a nice (less expensive) alternative. Many sites even offer some free digi designs to get you started.
