I like your article on scissora. A friend and me were just discussing that the other day. I have to admit I LOVE my Fiskars scissors - the black and gray ones with the spring. It was my first 'tool' purchase and I love them!! My hand doesn't hurt and I can cut out details.

I know I've been dying to get myself a rotary paper trimmer. I've got a plain jane, cheapy Provo Craft paper cutter, and it gets the job done, but sometimes I don't LOVE it. On thinner or more I don't know... I guess just 'softer' paper, like K&C Super Stack paper, it always leaves beads on the paper edges, and I end up trimming them with normal scissors to clean it up. I have a purple cow mouse type rotary trimmer, but don't use it because I never get the lines as perfect as I'd like.
Thank you SO much for the info beth! Your writing seems to be coming along great!

I'm gonna have to do like a questionaire for all the designers and see what kind of tools you all use... it would be kind of fun to do an article that included such a wide range of crafters and see what you all like... I'll work on that!!!

Beth, I finally bit the bullet and got a Fiskars Rotary trimmer today! I'll be playing with it tonight after work and will let you know how much I love it (since it's not a matter if I love it; I know I will!) Thank you so much for the information, even as an experienced crafter; it's always so nice to get input!
