I'm thinking of getting a light tent to use for photographing my projects. Does anyone have one that could share their experience with it? Do you like using it?

I had my former husband make me a light tent ... I found a tutorial online ... he used PVC pipe and light panels... it works great... except that I still haven't bought the lights I need to use it... so I have not put it to good use at all yet.

Me neither!!! Although I've seen that some people just use those cheap can lights (silver) that have the clips... and put daylight bulbs in them? I just haven't tried that yet! I should though!

Beth, I bought some of those lights with the clips and put them in a homemade light box. But all my photos came out yellow. I thought I bought white light bulbs but I guess that still didn't work. So either I will have to get the light tent that Kristina mentioned or get a diffuser for my camera. I just need a studio! Ha!

Ressurecting this thread only because I'm having issues that are so frustrating lately! I have a light box but don't use it because it is too big for my space (long story but I'm crammed into the office/dining room/craft room of our small 1br apt!) The lighting in there is crappy and I spend sooooo much time editing photos that it is making crafting/blogging/submitting such a chore. Ugh. We spent over an hour last night trying to figure out why my whites come out grey and hope I solved at least one of my problems. The thing that is most annoying is that I can get some great photos and some crappy photos during the same shoot, time of day, lighting, etc hasn't changed. Thanks for the place to vent...
