We will be traveling to a couple different houses - friends and then co-workers. I will be enjoying the time with my friends and family and I have a few dishes to make.

I will be cooking the whole meal, for my husband, daughter, s/i/l and grandson. I do not dare deviate from one ingredient in anything, it all must be the same every single year. Everyone will watch football because they are all sports NUTS. If they leave early enough, we will get down all the Christmas trees and all the bins (about 15) and start the Christmas decorating that night. Otherwise we will wait until Friday morning.

We will be spending the day with some friends at their house. She is doing the meat and potatoes and deserts and I will be doing all of the other side dishes. I'm sure there will be some football action happening and maybe a nap involved. I know I need to get to bed early because we are getting up with the rest of the crazy bargain hunters to do some Black Friday shopping!

I'll have gumbo cooked for my hubby and we'll go to my mom's house to eat that and the turkey she'll cook. Hubby will go home and fall onto his bed, I mean couch,  and laze away the day "watching" football. I still haven't figured out how he does that with his eyes closed.  So I'll probably have some crafting time since he'll be occupied and my daughter will head out to her boyfriends family. |
