Okay Cricut masters here's my question. I want to take a blackout tulip shape on the Bloom cart and connect it with a square shape from the same cart to make a solid tag (tulip shaped top with squared off bottom). Can I connect these shapes somehow so that it only cuts the outline of the two put together? I tried welding but either I'm not doing it right or that won't work. ANY and ALL help appreciated!

Tracy... I would have to understand exactly what you are doing... but you should be able to weld any two shapes together. You must overlap them, group and then weld. the problem you may be encountering is if you are trying to eliminate part of the tulip shape in order to cut... is that what you are doing?

Of course after I posted this I got it to do what I wanted although I'm not exactly sure what I did. LOL I just wanted to have the tag have the tulip shape across the top but be a regular square tag shape on the bottom. I was trying to weld it but I don't think I was doing it in the right order. I think I clicked weld for each of the two shapes separately, then clicked on the corner so that the bottom square had the arrow movers and the tulip top had little circles on the points. Then I clicked apply--I think--and it worked. I think what I just described it the "grouping" you were talking about. I think I was trying to apply the weld at the wrong time. I'll play with it some more tomorrow. Thanks Beth!
